The Hairbrained Video Awards
The HVA’s recognize outstanding and inspired work in video by hairdressers, salons, and academies. Over the last eight years, the HVA Awards has nominated work from over 200 creators and has awarded $64,000 in cash prizes.
The HVA Awards are 6 diverse categories where hairdressers contribute, share and are recognized. Video has proven to be an incredibly powerful medium for the community and we want to reward and encourage those creating videos that capture the essence of our craft.
Entering the HVA’s is free and easy! All entrees are considered for nomination into the final judging of the 6 categories. Once nominations close, our panel of expert judges will then choose a winner in each category, as well as the overall Grand Prize Winner for Video of the Year award.
HVA winners receive funding to aid in the production of future projects – – cash prizes include, $500 for each category winner, plus a grand prize of $5,000 for the HVA Video of The Year award!
