Celebrate the artistry, vision and creativity that goes into crafting a hair collection in the micro-documentary, “Ideas on North 11th St.” At its heart is Tom Connell, Davines Hair Art Director, whose ingenuity and craftsmanship are on full display both as the hair lead and the photographer of the collection. Under his direction, hair becomes a canvas of creative expression, where vision and spontaneity intertwine to push boundaries.
“Ideas on North 11th St.” is also a testament to the power of collaboration. Jehnna Foster, a renowned session stylist and educator for Davines, transforms wigs to breathe life into Tom’s vision. And since that vision also included filming the project with Super 8 film, Waylon Bone from Thrasher Magazine brings his expertise in visual storytelling.

this was great! so refreshing to get away from the theatrics and gimmicks of social media influencers and get back to some real hairdressing art <3 (i'm on an instagram break and just got my year sub for HBL!⭐️)
so based they're using 8 milli with the dude from thrasher 🛹
and in my opinion, idk about wigs being the same tho, you can do a LOT more with wigs and they're not usually unique. no tricky hairlines or whorls or curl pattern or texture.
as a colorist i can't wait for the color version!
nice one tom and jenna and errbody!
