Gerard Scarpaci is a veteran craft hairdresser with over three decades of experience in hairdressing, education, and presenting to audiences worldwide. One of the industry’s most respected educators, Gerard co-founded Hairbrained, a global community of over 3 million #crafthairdressers and colorists.
Since its launch in 2008, Hairbrained has become a driving force in the industry, introducing the Pro Shop, which curates top-tier tools of the trade; the Hairbrained Live Academy, offering more than 160 hours of high-quality online education; the Hairbrained Awards, the only industry competition that awards cash prizes; and producing events like Teach In and the three-day Hb Fest.
Gerard continues to engage deeply with the Hairbrained community, sharing his passion for the craft through teaching at every opportunity, and collaborating with the Hairbrained team and partners to elevate the craft of hairdressing.

A Cleveland, Ohio native, Greg Gilmore has spent more than 18 years mastering the art of hair. At 15, Greg began assisting local Cleveland stylists. That passion led him to study with Paul Mitchell, L’Oréal Professionnel and Vidal Sassoon, earning him eight diplomas and mastery in cutting, coloring, education and textured hair.
Blow Magazine named Greg one of Cleveland’s top 50 stylists in 2008 and 2009. Greg has been a featured platform artist on multiple stages named Educator of the Year by Design Essentials three times. In addition, Greg has worked with celebrities including Toni Braxton, Nicole Ari Parker, Tami Roman, Tiffany Haddish, Storm Reid, among many others.
Greg prides himself on positively impacting every client, and his motto is “Progress toward a better tomorrow, one head at a time.” Currently, he is the Global Color Ambassador for Moroccanoil.

Judith Viola (@judeviola) thrives in an educational environment, whether she is the teacher or student. A #crafthairdresser at heart, she has carved a space in the industry with her recognizable style and constant desire to learn and grow. With deep roots in Toni&Guy Hairdressing, Judith’s work marries precision and personalization. She designs unique looks for the individual, drawing inspiration from personal style with respect to modern nostalgia. Specializing in shorter, textured haircuts, Judith uses a combination of wet and dry cutting techniques to create styles that are both soft and bold. Judith’s personal mission is to align the visual and the technical through the mindful sharing of process. Today she achieves this as the creator of Headparty (@headparty), a movement of hairdressers seeking to connect beauty with thought.

When Shay is not working with Sebastian Professional, he can be found at his Sunset Plaza Salon in the heart of West Hollywood, California.
