Gerard Scarpaci

Gerard Scarpaci is a veteran craft hairdresser with over three decades of experience in hairdressing, education, and presenting to audiences worldwide. One of the industry’s most respected educators, Gerard co-founded Hairbrained, a global community of over 3 million #crafthairdressers and colorists.

Since its launch in 2008, Hairbrained has become a driving force in the industry, introducing the Pro Shop, which curates top-tier tools of the trade; the Hairbrained Live Academy, offering more than 160 hours of high-quality online education; the Hairbrained Awards, the only industry competition that awards cash prizes; and producing events like Teach In and the three-day Hb Fest.

Gerard continues to engage deeply with the Hairbrained community, sharing his passion for the craft through teaching at every opportunity, and collaborating with the Hairbrained team and partners to elevate the craft of hairdressing.
